Saying you want to have a regulated nervous system, is like saying you want to be happy all the time.


I mean yes, that would be nice, but no it’s not very likely to happen.


Life will bring you ups and downs, which in your nervous system looks like a constant movement between different degrees of activation.


What you want is to be able to meet and move through those activations, as supposed to getting stuck in them for longer periods of time.


Having a flexible nervous system means being able to move through the spectrum of activation and regulation with more ease.

You can increase your nervous system flexibility through having a daily embodiment practice and using somatic tools for regulation.


Somatic therapy or coaching can support you in finding what works for your unique nervous system.

When I let there be space

between my thoughts

space pours gold

into the cracks

of my mind.


When I open myself up and receive

the emptiness around me

emptiness opens me

to receive it’s

fullness.


When I listen to the resistance

that’s silencing me

it’s voice

sets me

free.


When I question the voice inside

that’s questioning me

I can finally hear

the care

in me.


When I give myself the gifts

I’ve been giving to others

my well nourished cells

burst and overflow

with gifts.


When I allow contradictions

to move through me

they all contribute

to the picture

becoming

The idea that there’s something wrong with us that needs fixing is the same idea that made us change, suppress and adapt who we are in the first place.


When we bring this idea into our healing journey, the self suppressing cycle will continue.


We end up pushing, forcing and achieving healing to get to the goal of being fully fixed.


Yet we cannot shift something with the same mindset that created it.


I am going to say that again: we cannot shift something with the same mindset that created it.


Not even if we put love and light glitter on top of it.



What if instead of DOING our healing we were to invite a new way of BEING that is in itself healing?


What if there is NOWHERE to get to but right HERE and welcome all of the aliveness in your sensations, emotions and thoughts?


What if nothing is WRONG about the conflicting parts in you and we could find out what’s RIGHT about them through allowing them to be here and share their wisdom?



Your nervous system is asking you to start listening to all your supressed needs waiting to be expressed.


Your body is longing to untangle and unfold from stuckness and stagnation into pure aliveness.


Your being is craving space for life to move through you in all its beauty.



This is what I offer: to hold space for you to untangle and unfold your being into more aliveness and softness.
