RELATIONAL LABORATORY

You are invited to our relational research laboratory.

We all long to relate more authentically without losing touch with ourselves, yet most of us struggle to feel & express our boundaries, needs & longings in connection to others. We have lost touch with the subtle impulses from within: our compass that guides us to find that place where we can truly meet. We were taught to follow outside expectations instead and developed coping mechanisms and unhealthy patterns that now control all of our relationships.

This is why we created a relational research laboratory where we explore different kinds of connection, with the intention of meeting ourself in new ways. We open up a space where we bring awareness to the unconscious patterns that run our relationships through mindful observation. Together we explore creating new relational experiences in the micro cosmos of a workshop that can ripple out into your life and relationships.

In this relational laboratory we offer you the relational education you never got at school:

Connecting with yourself, your body and your nervous system first before you move into connecting with others.

Creating an inner sense of safety, through getting to know your nervous system and how to regulate it.

Tuning into your inner YES & NO as well as the authentic expression of your needs, longings & desires.

Finding your unique individual pace in connection to yourself & others, through slowing down enough to notice the subtle signals from your body and letting them guide you from moment to moment.

During the weekend we will explore, experience & play with these themes:

• embodied boundaries & consent
• nervous system regulation
• trauma awareness
• somatic practices
• authentic expression
• relational needs, longings & desires
• group field wisdom

* This workshop does not contain any nudity, erotic intimacy or activation of sexual energy.

* All humans are welcome, regardless of relationship status, gender and previous experience.

Friday evening is a taster and an intro of the journey we will go on throughout the weekend, you can choose to join just the friday or the whole weekend.

ABOUT ROUVEN

Rouven is a relationship and intimacy artist. Based in Leipzig (Germany) he brings trauma sensitivity and bodywork approaches into the field of relational work, investigating the correlation of the nervous system, needs, trauma, behavior patterns and upbringing in relationships and partnerships.

Rouven is guiding and facilitating in Germany and Scandinavia as well as training therapists and coaches in trauma-aware and somatic relationship counseling. He is deeply committed following his nomad heart combining Love with Integrity.

ABOUT IDA

Ida is here to reconnect you to the deep wisdom of your body and your true nature. She perceives herself as a relationship nerd and sees relationships as a possibility for both mutual and individual growth. Ida creates group fields in which our bodies guide us to a place where our hearts can meet, our nervous systems feel safe and all parts of us feel welcome.

She draws inspiration and knowledge from Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Circling, Embodied Intimacy and attachment theory in her work and always leaves room for the unique wisdom of the group to guide her.

PRACTICALITIES:

Bring comfortable clothes that you can move freely in, a water bottle and a journal for taking notes if you wish.

Please always arrive 10-15 min before the session starts to give yourself time to land, so that we can start together.

Lunch is not included, please bring your own if you want to eat at the venue or go out and find a restaurant near by. We will provide some light snacks & fruit for the shorter breaks in between.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Up until one week before the event we refund 50% if you have to cancel your ticket, after that tickets are non refundable. You are welcome to gift or sell your ticket to someone else if you can’t make it or use it at another one of our workshops within the next 3 months.

HEALTH POLICY

We encourage self responsibility at our events, which means we trust that you don’t come if you are sick, have any symptoms or have been in recent contact with someone that does.

TRANSPORT

The venue is right across from Malmö central train station, with only a few minutes walk over the canal.

PARKING

There are some parking spots right outside the entrance Norra Vallgatan 18, otherwise around the block on the streets nearby.

CARPOOLING

Post in the event on FB if you can offer a ride or want a ride from some of the cities close by.
